Generation Castleside
Generations Unite at Castleside School
We held a special event at Castleside Primary School on Thursday 11th July. Our community came together to celebrate the rich history and vibrant community spirit that defines our school.
This unique event ‘Generation Castleside’ honoured the generations of families who have walked the halls of Castleside Primary School, contributing to its legacy of excellence in education. It was an evening filled with nostalgia, pride and a deep sense of community, as we reflected on the past and looked forward to welcoming future families to our school.
One of the highlights of this event was a captivating photo exhibition, showcasing a photoshoot that involved families, friends, and members of staff both past and present. These heart warming images captured the essence of our community’s enduring connection to the school, illustrating stories of learning, growth and togetherness. Each photograph is a testament to the bonds that have been forged at Castleside Primary School, and they serve as a beautiful reminder of the impact that the primary school has had on countless lives.
This celebration was more than just an event; it was an opportunity for our community to come together, reconnect and strengthen the ties that make Castleside Primary School such a special place.

Where it all began
Frankie Archer discovered her passion for playing the fiddle during her time with us here at Castleside Primary School. Frankie has continued to pursue her musical dreams and is currently touring the country and sharing her gift with a wider audience. Her journey has reached a significant milestone having recently performed at the prestigious Glastonbury Festival, enchanting the crowds with her extraordinary fiddle playing and bringing immense pride to our school community.
Frankie was not the first member of her family to pass through our doors, her Dad, Philip, also is a proud member of the Castleside Alumni.
